Studio

Our studio is a busy nerve centre preparing artwork for submission to one of many networked printing devices. It has a mix of PC and Mackintoshes running the latest popular business software on both platforms. This includes software from Quark, Adobe, Microsoft and Corel. In addition to this we have a number of specialist pieces of software to perform requirements such as personalisation for items such as cards, badges, letters, certificate and invites, as well as imposition software to perform step and repeat layouts, or booklet signatures.

Our experienced staff will assist in the preparation of artwork from the concept stage, right through to the finished design. We are happy to tackle everything from simple leaflets and posters, through to complex brochures, technical manuals or financial reports. We also have the expertise to prepare artwork for large format display panels and exhibition stands.

PDF Workflow

The large majority of artwork goes through a pdf work flow on its way to one of our presses. This is an increasingly popular and the preferred method of providing print ready files to us if you are preparing you own artwork for printing.

Quark and Indesign Files.

We are quite happy to take your original source files for print projects in this format, as we appreciate that it can speed the process should artwork need updating or alteration. To assist our studio, please ensure that projects include all linked graphic files and fonts that have been used in the documents. Using the 'collect for output' and 'package' commands in the software menus will ensure that all the required items are found. Our experience shows that when this process is done manually, invariably something gets forgotten!
